Waterford Township is about 13 minutes from downtown Pontiac, roughly 6 miles, by way of Highland Road (M-59) or Dixie Highway. Water covers about 11 percent of its 35 square miles. Neighborhoods include Drayton Plains, Clintonville, Waterford Village and Four Towns, and Elizabeth Lake is a historic resort community.
